Business Intelligence Solutions for Large Volumes of Information
Quantica, thanks to the different requirements it has had from its customers over time, it has obtained a great deal of knowledge in relation to Data Processing.
The first time we approached information processing, was when years ago a customer wanted to determine the reason why bread at the production level was never fulfilled, and there were countless apparently unrelated reasons. This client was quite large for the time and the number of machines, equipment and people involved in the process were very dispersed sources of information that were difficult to structure. It must be remembered that at that time (2002- 2003) the concept of BigData was not as present as it is today.
Basically what we did was identify the sources of information, establish a systematic and consistent process for storing it, then we worked with the client to separate the important elements and those that are not, to finally process the information and obtain the results of that analysis in a systematic and automatic way. For this client, the main advantage of processing their information was to reduce periods with underutilization to practically zero and to plan maintenance optimally, since it was almost automatically connected to the data analysis and decision-making system.
Identification > Acquisition >Stockpiling > Pre-Processing > Processing > Dahsboard >Decision Making
From that first experience until today, we have integrated and developed solutions for Customers with specific applications due to their particular needs and we have also developed solutions for compliance with the NTSycs for coordinators in Chile, even when CDEC-SING existed, this body occupied our solution to analyze the availability compliance of the Coordinates of the Interconnected System of the Grande North (SING).
From the point of view of quantity of information (if we can put it in simple terms) we have delivered solutions that range from a few hundred data that is stored every 2 seconds, to about 25 thousand that are stored every 3 seconds. In most cases, customers require at least 2 years of history, so the amount of information to consider is quite large
(25,000 data x 60sec/3 x 60min x 24 hours x 365 days x 1 year = 6.5 PETA Yearly )
