To address this security threat, we have combined our experience to offer a complete multisensory solution: DNA-drone.
This new generation system is composed of 3 elementary blocks that interact through a command center. MERCAT
A true sentinel, MERCAT continuously analyzes the radio frequency environment to warn, in a short time, of the presence of one or more threats.
MATIA
Terahertz radar, which combines Doppler and Micro-Doppler analysis, detects all types of drones, including smaller drones, autonomous drones (without radio frequency emission) and those that fly in suspension. MAJES
Used by the French armed forces, MAJES can neutralize drone guidance systems (GPS/GLONASS) and their communication links.

1. Protective perimeter

Alone or in swarm, drones represent a real breach in airspace security in confidential locations and large events, making anti-drone defense an absolute priority.
Only a combination of various technologies and human beings can respond to the threat. To organize this protection, it is essential to know the airspace situation in real time. The DNA-Drone multilayer approach combines the performance of detection, tracking, classification and neutralization technologies to control the threat. Because securing an airport is not the same as securing a refinery, the flexibility of our systems allows us to create a protection bubble adapted to their problems and the geometry of their spaces. In this way, the DNA-Drone guarantees permanent surveillance, thanks to an intelligent technological network that extends over the area to be protected.

2. Malicious drone detection

Detection plays a crucial role in the process of neutralizing drones. A global knowledge of the threat allows us to offer an adapted solution, which is why we have combined our terahertz radar with the MATIA Doppler and Micro-Doppler analysis and our MERCAT RF signal analyzer. Where MERCAT does not work, MATIA intervenes, in particular against autonomous drones that have the peculiarity of not emitting any radio frequency (RF) signal, making them invisible to radio frequency analysis systems, but detectable by our radar. DNA-Drone detects, locates, tracks and identifies drones that cross its protective perimeter, allowing operators to activate countermeasures.

3. Neutralizing the threat

For very small flows: It consists of a flowmeter to measure extracted volume, and the flow can be obtained in two ways: for the equipment to deliver the flow directly, or for the user to calculate it based on the volume delivered by the equipment.
Basic: It consists of a flow meter the same as that indicated for the very small flow measurement system and equipment that allows measuring water levels, which in this case can be portable.

The threat of drones is omnipresent, invading the skies. Not a day goes by without private (Seveso type), state and military confidential infrastructures being overflowed. Cheap, easily accessible and controllable, the drone, although it is a source of opportunities in many fields (agriculture, rescue, etc.) constitutes a threat of a protected nature (espionage, smuggling, explosive charges, etc.) that grows exponentially. To ensure the safety of infrastructures, events and personnel, it is necessary for different entities to be equipped with appropriate means of protection. MAJES is one of the neutralization systems offered by our company. It makes it possible to neutralize drone guidance systems (GPS/GLONASS) and their communication links. Lightweight, compact and modular, MAJES has been designed to be deployed fixedly for the protection of sensitive infrastructures (SEVESO, prisons, airports, etc.) or mobile for specific events (G7, France's national day, etc.) and military operations/attacks. It is possible to deploy several MAJES in a network to cover replacements of varying size and geometry in order to avoid shady areas in the airspace that must be protected.

IN A SINGLE SYSTEM

All drones have micro-Doppler signatures due to the rotation of their blades. These signatures are specific to each reference and can be used to differentiate them.
At the same time, they can be used to differentiate a drone from a bird, which also has its own Micro-Doppler signature due to the flapping of its wings. The operation of MATIA in the terahertz frequency range makes it possible to recover highly reliable and distinctive micro-Doppler signatures from different ranges of drones, but also between drones and birds, all in a shorter time than other existing radar technologies.

SOFTWARE

The software interface is based on a real-time 3D engine with parallel computing that offers a very high data processing capacity of several gigabytes per second. MATIA has a wide range of signal processing algorithms to optimize its performance depending on the environment. Its simple and responsive interface offers the operator several viewing modes that allow for comfortable and unrestricted use.

To reinforce the reliability of the detections and allow the identification of the detected drone models, algorithms have been developed that unify the data from MATIA and MERCAT.
The graphic interface integrates a 2D radar-type visualization, as well as an engine that provides access to a geolocation and visualization of drones in a 3D mapping. The application records the history of detections and offers the user the possibility of entering one or more models authorized to fly over the controlled area.

IMPLEMENTATION

The deployment of MATIA does not require any particular infrastructure, which allows easy integration into the area you want to secure. Several MATIAs can work together to cover places of variable geometry and avoid shady areas.
A fiber optic link allows the data collected by the radar to be retrieved on a dedicated PC for processing and visualization in real time.

In a world where the threat of terrorism is omnipresent, traditional security systems are reaching their limits and are no longer adapted to the increasing flow of people. Sensitive infrastructures, large events and public places, such as train stations, airports, stadiums and other places with large reception capacity are the most vulnerable to this threat. New means of control must be established to ensure the safety of people without creating disorders or delays that could alter people's experience and pose a security risk through the creation of meeting points. To ensure the safety of people, MM-Imager was developed with the support of the French army and the European Commission. Based on terahertz technology, the MM-Imager is a passive millimeter-wave camera capable of detecting hidden objects in moving people without the need for radiation. It is capable of detecting any type of object, including powders, metals, ceramics, plastics, liquids, etc. Its capabilities in terms of detection sensitivity, field of view and image quality are state-of-the-art. The MM-Imager measures the natural microwaves that are emitted, reflected and transmitted by objects and the human body. This solution has been approved by the French authorities as an innovative solution to secure the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

MM-Imager differs from all other detection systems because of its cutting-edge performance, which allows it to detect objects in moving people. Threats are displayed on the screen thanks to customized image processing algorithms. They allow the operator to analyze and consider the threat.

SIMPLE AND INTUITIVE INTERFACE

MM-Imager has an innovative hypervisor software that is fully configurable for one or two MM-Imagers. In addition, for each unit, the software allows the automatic detection of hidden objects in real time. The size of the objects to be detected can be adjusted within the capabilities of the unit depending on the application.
